"A good deal of disability studies work in literature thus far has concentrated on the depiction of individual characters in narratives(569).
Disability studies does not really constitute a New Literalism in literary study. It calls attention to the many figural uses of disability, but only to demonstrate that many of the narrative devices and rhetorical tropes we take for granted are grounded in the underrecognized and undertheorized facts of bodily difference(570).
“I know all the countries of the world and their capital cities and every prime number up to 7057”(2).
“But I do like murder mystery novel. So I am writing a murder mystery novel”(5).

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time is a novel talks about a boy called Christopher who is a smart boy good at math however some of his behaviors were weird. The book does not clearly show his disabilities. However the readers feel weird about this book. When I read the first several papers, the organization of this novel is weird. It first talked about he found the dog was killed and then suddenly infixed his name and the memory he met Siobhan. The story happened after the midnight. It was pretty late for a child walked on the street. Mrs. Shears found her dog was killed and asked Christopher stayed away from the dog. He said that grass was cold and nice. It made me think that he might have some kind of disease. In the book, Disability and Narrative talks about the disable people were referring to be special or different people. “A good deal of disability studies work in literature thus far has concentrated on the depiction of individual characters in narratives.” He was writing the novel in the 1st person. We could find the characteristic of him in this story. He likes the dog so that he was holding that dog. He did not feel scared about this dead dog. He was thinking about the earth, universe and several math things. I realize he really likes imaging and math. He was different from other people and he has no understanding of human emotions. He asked his father whether he was sad because of that dog. I found he was a poor child that his mother died. He said she did not go to heaven because there is no heaven. He likes a computer quickly working to think.
In his word, we knew his teacher Siobhan suggested him to write the story of a dead dog. He could improve himself in the narratives. He decided to find out the murder that killed the dog. Therefore he experienced many changes in his life. He marked his chapter number different in the book. There were many numbers and math marks to let us to go into Christopher’s world because his world was originally a safe and alone world. I also realize that he was alone because the death of his mother. He walked outside in the midnight and it did not mention where his father. Siobhan was his teacher. In the first several pages, we could not image his life because of his disability. Mrs. Shears and police thought he was a madman.
